What Is Fax Broadcasting?
Fax
broadcasting or otherwise known as fax blasting, bulk faxing, etc. is basically
the distribution of the same document(s) to hundreds or thousands of destinations via
fax.
What Are The Best Days To Fax?
Many
marketing authorities will say that the best days to fax are
Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. The reasoning behind this is
that Monday is what some would consider to be a get back into the
swing of things kind of day.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are considered to be midweek, which
is when some believe that individuals are once again sick of their
J-O-B-S and are more apt to look at an opportunity. Then Friday rolls around and some believe that people are more
concerned with the weekend activities. This is what some will tell
you, but I am going to tell you differently or rather I am going to
share with you my experience.
When
CIM got started, we sent our fax ads from PC's and our calling plan supported faxing on Fridays, so
that's what we did. Additionally, we also did some faxing on
Saturdays, which by the way yielded the best response we have ever
had.
In
my opinion ~ You Can't Say The Right Thing To The Wrong Person and
on the other hand, You Can't Say The Wrong Thing To The Right
Person. If someone is going to be interested, they will be
interested no matter when they receive your advertisement.
I
personally don't think that there is a right or wrong day to
advertise. I believe that you have to do what feels right for
you. Business have been advertising seven days a week for
years. Remember to go back to the basic principles, which are
that you must consistently get your information out to the masses
and those who are interested will be moved to action when the time
is right for them.
How Are Your Fax Leads Generated?
CIM compiles our own opportunity seeker / MLM fax lists and due to the demand, we may at times uselist managers or brokers, who compile fax leads in a number of different ways.
w
Ads are placed, individuals respond requesting more information about home-based business.
w
Network Marketing companies dissolve and sell their database of distributors/members, which by the way are now looking for a new home.
w
Numbers are acquired from individuals that have obtained information about home-based businesses through fax-on-demand.
Note: In each case, each recipient is contacted to verify that they do in fact want to receive information about various products and/or home-based businesses via fax.
What Kind Of Response Can I Expect?
The response rates for faxing are generally 1/2 to
1 percent. That's 5 to 10 responses per 1000 delivered
faxes. You need to keep in mind is that averages are
calculated over time. What this basically means is that your
response rates will fluctuate. Sometimes they
will be great, sometimes they are will be fair and sometimes they
will be poor. No one can guarantee response rates because
what moves a recipient to action is an individual thing.
I
can tell you this though. The
key to a successful marketing campaign is consistency. You
have to get your information into the hands of the masses on a
consistent basis. Fix and refine your marketing literature
until you find what works for you and then stick with it for the
long term and you will have success.
So
many people have caught the get rich quick wave. Now I don't
want to burst your bubble, but let me tell you folks, constructing
a business takes time. Sure some people obtain success
quickly, but it is a very small percentage. I'm not telling
you this to discourage you, I just want you to be realistic.
When you embark on something with your eyes wide open, the
likelihood of achieving your goals is much greater, whereas, if you
have unrealistic expectations, you are setting yourself up for
failure.
How Should I Send My Document To CIM?
You can either
email, fax or mail your document to CIM. When you place your order, you
will be prompted to tell us how you are sending your document.
If you email
your document, we accept various formats, such as: PDF, GIF, JPEG, Word,
PowerPoint, etc. Email is the preferred method as it provides us with an
electronic "camera-ready" copy of your document. This will
ensure the best possible clarity.
If you fax your
document, please remember to fax it in "FINE" resolution. With
the use of technology, we are able to scrub your document to meet our fax
specifications.
If you mail your
document, we will scan your document upon receipt, which will ensure clear,
crisp resolution.
Can CIM Design A Fax Document For Me?
No, we are not a graphic design company. You
will need to provide us with your document and we will broadcast it
for you at lightening speed.
There are some
rare cases when we will design a document. In those cases, our rate is
$45.00 per hour.
Do I Have To Put A Disclaimer On My Document?
If you are using your own list, you should use your own disclaimer. This will help you to maintain your fax list.
If we are using our lists, we will add our disclaimer to your document prior to
transmission.
Can You Broadcast To My List?
Absolutely. If you are submitting your own list, you can email it CIM. We accept various formats, such as:
Excel, Text, ASCII, Comma Delimited, Tab Delimited, Access, Dbase.
Am I Paying For Attempts or Connects?
You only pay for
faxes that are delivered. Your connect rate will always be more than the
number of faxes ordered. It will generally be within 50 records. For
example, if you order 2500 faxes, there will be between 2500 and 2550 that will
connect. That is due to the fact that our lists are 100% connectable and
while no list will have the same connection ratio twice,
we can judge pretty accurately what the connection ratio will be. We
always upload an overage to ensure that you receive the number of faxes that
you pay for. In the event, the connection ratio is lower than expected, we
will upload a 2nd list to complete your job.
How Quickly Can You Process My Job?
Ideally, we
prefer to receive your order at least 24 hours prior to the time that you want
your fax document to be broadcasted or at minimum, by 5pm the day prior to the
date the fax is to be broadcasted.
We can process a
job within a few hours of receiving an order. The fee for "same
day" express service is $20.00
How Will I Know When My Fax Job Is Processed?
When you place
your order, you will be prompted to enter the date and approximate time that you
want your fax document to be transmitted. We will make every attempt to
process your job on the date and time you request. If we are unable to, we
will contact you for an alternate date and/or time.
Additionally, we
will include your fax number to receive a confirmation copy of your fax document
as it is being transmitted. Although our fax server will attempt to
deliver a document 3 times, we can not ensure that you will receive a
confirmation copy of your fax. There are times that the server is unable
to deliver a document. For instance: if the recipient's fax machine is out
of paper, toner or ink. Some use the same line for phone/fax and may be
having voice communication on the line. Some use their fax line for
internet dial-up and may be online at the time the server is attempting to
deliver the fax. There are also a variety of communication errors.
Generally, our
server is able to make the connection, but there are times when it cannot.
If you do not receive your confirmation fax, it does not mean that your fax job
has not been processed. It just means that the server was not able to
deliver the confirmation to you.
When your fax
job is complete, you will receive either an email or fax confirming that your
job has been completed and will provide you with your actual connect rate.
Why Are Your Prices So Low, Compared To Many Other Fax Companies?
CIM
"Creative Innovations Marketing" was developed and has
evolved with a single purpose in mind:
To assist individuals to
acquire more contacts to expand their businesses as affordably as
possible.
That's how we started and to this day, it remains our focus.
We encompass significant fax volume, which allows us to
maintain exceptionally low rates. We in turn, pass the savings on to our customers.
Enjoy !!
What Are The Legalities of Faxing?
Please Note: The advertising of goods, products, or real property by transmitting unsolicited facsimiles may be in violation of state and federal law, and may subject the advertiser to civil penalties.
The laws regarding fax transmissions vary by state. We have
researched and always act in accordance with the TCPA. Articles are available by visiting the Federal Communications Commission
website. http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/information_directory.html
Tidbit: The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has extended the
effective date to January 1, 2005 - the new rules requiring written consent before sending advertising faxes.
Note: The fax numbers that we offer
to our customers are of individuals that have opted to receive
additional information based on the guidelines of the fax laws. We
test our numbers prior to distribution, which provides the recipients
ample time and the opportunity to request to be removed if desired, thus
providing our customers with much cleaner lists. Even with this
system in place, there may be times when an individual receives unwanted
faxes. There are several reasons for this.
The remove instructions were not
followed correctly.
They did not submit their remove
request prior to distribution.
They have opted onto several lists
unknowingly and are being
inundated with faxes and no longer wish to receive them.
They have requested to be removed from
another list. Many people
think that all the faxes they receive come from the same source
and
do not realize that they must submit a request for each fax
received.
Human input error
And More...
Additionally, although the Opportunity
Seeker/MLM
lists that CIM offers are generally
home based numbers, there are times when a business is opted into a
list, starts to receive faxes and the management gets upset. The
problem is that the majority of people do not understand how lists are
compiled and in the case with businesses, it happens most often because
an employee has requested information and provides the fax number at
their place of employment, which by law, gives the broadcaster the right
to fax to the number provided.
There are a multiple variations of the
aspects of list management and 99% of the time, the system works as it
is designed to, but there are times when something slips through the
cracks, so to speak, and must be handled individually. CIM has
been distributing fax lists for over 6 years and has never
has an issue with unwanted faxes that could not be handled by anything
but communication with a recipient.
